They are a push-up tube. Which can be buried or composted - no waste. The cardboard tubes can be a little tricky to get started, you may need to warm the tube by holding with your hands around it for a moment or two. A fantastic alternative for anyone who prefer's a spray on Deodorant. This is an excellent spray-on with health benefits. Magnesium Oil is the best way to get Magnesium (a very important mineral) into your system, the benefits are much greater when applied trans-dermally compared to an oral supplement.
Note: some find the spray deodorant can sting - after shaving especially. Personally I can spray it on after shaving with no problem but some find it can sting. Especially if low in magnesium.
I use the deoderant spray in conjuction with the no baking soda probiotic deodorant, and this is a combo that works really well for me. So happy to no longer be using aluminum filled and artificially fragranced deodorants!

Actually Works
Amazed that my husband is using this every day now. I found it didn't cope with my very sweaty days - but works well the rest of the time. He's a complete convert. Our only comment would be the spray bottle isn't very good.. Like trying to spray perfume. We're going to keep using it but buy a more industrial sprayer. We don't like roll-ons. Have tried other natural deodorants and none kept us dry, this is astonishing. 4 stars because the actual deodorant is Highly Recommended just the sprayer needs changing to be perfect.
